According to the latest report revealed by World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Inclusive Development Index (IDI), Bangladesh has successfully made its 36th position out of the 79 developing countries.
Categorized as a Low-Income country, Bangladesh beats Pakistan and India which are at the 52nd and 60th position.
Other countries of the region such as China ranked 15th and Nepal 27th position.
The indexing was based on 12 performance indicators. These indicators are further divided into three pillars which are growth, inclusion, and inter-generational equity. Along with economic development, the report also emphasized on incorporating the social inclusion of a country.
